| Inventory Items |
The Inventory button from the main screen of the Inventory & Purchasing module will bring up the List of Inventory Items screen. From
here, you are able to view a complete listing of all of your inventory items along with
a list of all the transactions having to do with any specific item.
The top half of the screen shows the list of inventory items, including the inventory Item Number, the Item Name, the Inventory Type, the Quantity on Hand, and the level of inventory for
each item.
|
|
Inventory Levels in EZ Maintenance fleet maintenance software are broken up in three different colors. Green, Orange, and Red.
A Green flag means that you are at a normal quantity level.
A Orange flag means that you are at or are close to the minimum quantity level defined for that item.
A Red flag means that you must reorder. |
New will allow you to create a new inventory item.
Edit will allow you to edit a current inventory item.
Delete will delete the selected inventory item.
Reproduce Inventory Item will allow you use the data from the currently selected inventory item as a template for your next item.
This feature is handy if you are creating similar items with very little changes in the data fields. |
|
The lower half of the above screen shows all transactions that have taken place, the type of transaction, and the quantity of the item.

Creating New Inventory Items
When creating a new Inventory item, you want to be as specific and exact as possible with all of the data fields. Items such as
“Long Description”, “Warehouse Location” and the “ID Codes” are for your own internal reference and use.
Unit is the measurement that the item is sold in. (Pieces, grams, ounces, pounds, etc)
ID Code 1 & 2 allow you to further classify the item for your own internal reference. |
